Kelli Dunham is a writer and ex-nun genderqueer nerdcomic as well as a registered nurse with more than a decade's experience in community health.

Kelli's writing has been syndicated nationally, received several Vice Versa awards and is regularly featured in Curve Magazine. She is also the proud author of four books, How to Survive and Maybe Even Love Nursing School (FA Davis, 2004), How to Survive and Maybe Even Love Your Life as a Nurse (FA Davis, 2005) The Boy's Body Book: Everything You Need to Know for Growing Up YOU (Applesauce Press, 2007) and The Girl's Body Book: Everything You Need to Know for Growing Up YOU (Applesauce Press, 2008).

As a comic, Kelli has performed nationally at colleges, clubs, pride festivals and once--just once-- at a livestock auction. She has two comedy CDs to her credit, I am NOT a 12 Year Old Boy and Almost Pretty, both of which are on frequent rotation on Sirius Satellite Radio's Rawdog Comedy Station.  She frequently speaks about LGBT health topics.  Kelli is also the cofounder and coproducer of Queer Memoir, New York's only LGBT storytelling series as well as the creator of the sadly hilarious (not to mention useful) Grief Sucks blog.
